Pinecones are probably my favorite winter decor, and they are definitely a popular choice for the holiday season, especially the cinnamon scented pinecones. Also, they can be quite expensive. Let’s DIY some for the holidays.

I picked a ton of these pinecones when I was outdoors last year and had them in the basement. Since they are dry, there is no need to bake them in the oven.
Place the pinecones in a Ziploc bag & add the essential oil. Around 10-20 drops, depending on your preferences. Wait about a week to let the pinecones absorb the essential oil. That is how simple it is.
When scent starts to fade, pop them back in a bag & add more essential oil!

They are heavenly and smell exactly the way winter should smell.
